"Don't wait for fate, take life into your own hands" is the motto of this song. It goes very well with Free Will. |

I consider this more about teenagers than America. I've consdiered "new world man" to mean "the new generation" and the "old world man" to be "old generation" |

This songi sn't about LSD. THe main LSD songs are Lucy IN The Sky and Across the Universe. Lennon is the one in the group who dropped the most acid. George wasn't too into it. This is George's best song. George si the most under rated Beatle. This is easilly the second best song on Sgt. Pepper. |

This is one of Lennon's greatest pieces of lyrical art. It's beautiful. Being one who's done acid before, the lyrics fit in with the effects of the drugs very well. Acid is not a bad thing, it's very beautiful. This song is beautiful... |

I really do like this song. It's not just about getting away, it's also about peace and love. It's a very sexual song. I'm getting a marijuana pipe with an Octopus on it, it'll be so great. |

The best part:
Back in school again Maxwell plays the fool again
Teacher gets annoyed
wishing to avoid an unpleasant sce-ee-ee-ene
She tells Max to stay when the class has gone away
So he waits behind
Writing 50 times I must not be so-oh-oh-oh |

| The Beatles – Good Day Sunshine Lyrics

"Drugs are Bad," this song is not about acid. There aren't different types of acid. LSD is LSD. Often people try to say this is a different "kind" of acid, and your high will be different to fit how you believe the high will be. If someone tells you that "this LSD will make you laugh a lot" you can bet you'll be laughing.
There is one type of LSD, no other. Acid that is considered "bad" is usually a cheap, chemically similar drug, and it's not the same thing as acid. |

This is one of the best on Within a Mile. It's a ill man trying to give wisdom to a younger man before he passes away. The last verse in this song is the greatest. |

It's not racist. Describing a person's skin color isn't racist unless there is a negative adjective in there too, and their isn'e, unless you consider "coal" degradatory...
The song is really beautiful, it's about losing your love interest and losing the love of your ever-changing city and remembering how much better everything was in the past. |

The version of this on the Drunken Lullabies album isn't that great. The live versions or a alternate version that you can download is a lot better. |

The song is about how the potato crop failed sometime in the 19th century, causing a huge influx of Irish immigrants in America. It's pretty sad, but they could definitely make it longer, develop more things about how he is sad that he may have to leave his beautiful country, add some more instruments, etc. |

This is the absolute greatest song that Flogging Molly has done. Seriously, it's so beautiful, and so tragic. The emo kids just wish they could make sadness this profound. |

This is easilly one of FLogging Molly's top five songs. It's a really good song about heart break and "what could have been?" type feelings. There's also some jealousy thrown in... |

THis song could mean many things, but I've always thought that it was more about the vicious cycle of conformity. The main motto of the song is "don't spend the rest of your life wondering." That's the principle the whole song is founded on.
I can also easilly see it being about buying into certain things like Nazi-ism, as Tucker said, but it's not specific to just WWII and the Nazis.
It's my favorite song in the world because i listened to it 50 times in one sitting when I was on acid. |
