I just need to comment on Metallikcker and flashoftheblade2005. Mark my words, Metallica have NEVER released CRAP. Every album (Kill'em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, Metallica, Load, ReLoad), every song(no need to list them) is good music. You may not like it, you may find it horrible bu it is good music. St. Anger's no exception. It is good music. If you're so narrowminded you don't make the diffrence between good music, bad music, music you like, and music you don't like, you're fucking pathetic and should STFU! Now... what's so great lyrically about Master of puppets or One? In what way are they superior lyrically than this song? They're the same quality of songwriting if not a lower one. |

| Is it just me, or does this song really sound like U2's Vertigo? And it's older than the irish band's... | |

| I found KoRn's version as good if not even better than Floyd's. The reason is that the aggro sound of KoRn, in my not-so humble opinion, reflects better the frustration and anxiety of the lyrics. | |

You know what's the only thing that matters and which you have the right to say? It's whether you like the song or not. I'm really sick from all you people screaming "Our fav. band changed their style! THEY SUCK! NO!" First of all, I suspect most of you know shit about music theory and therefore lack all knowledge to determine whether a song sucks or doesn't suck. Second, do you want to have 500 songs sounding just like the debut or Issues or any other album you consider great, or have a variety of different songs? I prefer the variety. Third, who the fuck are you to tell the band what to play? It's THEIR music. They can play whatever they want. If you don't like it, why don't you write your own music that YOU like. They like what they're doing, they're having fun. Writing music for a particular group of people[metal-fans, pop-fans, hip-hop-fans, whatever] is selling out, as opposed to writing music that you like. In conclusion, you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's that simple. |
