i recently got out of a relationship because the guy was going off to college and he's 3 years older than me.. this part really hits home because he said he didnt want to hurt me and that it was for the best.. and i just couldnt see how it would make things better.
this is exactly how i felt... mm what you say? that you only meant well.. well of course you did. mm what you say? that its all for the best? of course it is. mm what you say? that it's just what we need? well YOU decided this. i think the lines that she's "saying" towards him are the things running through her head. at least that's how I interpret it, ebcause that's how i felt. there were so many things i wanted to say but instead i jsut kept them to myself. |

i think its about a long distance relationship so .. i agree with OMG.. but the acoustic version makes the regular version look like crap they shouldnt have even put the regular version on the album.. im not even a hawthorne fan but the acoustic version of this song is amazing |

well actually ...i agree with Louise cuz this song makes me think of well its opposite.. my bf attempted suicide and i talked to him for 2 hrs to try to get him to change his mind about it and as i was finally about to give up i said call me and tell me u love me and he called me and he was bawlin and i talked to him for a little bit and slowly i talked him out of it.. and hes back on high ground and that was the worst day of my life but i still have him and to this day he says he lives for me and theres no doubt well be together forever n thats wut this song means to me.. |

idk y it might not have nething to do with this song but the lyrics seemed to fit.. my boyfriend lives far away hes in PA and im in NC and times got so hard for him and i couldnt be there for him and he said he was gonna commit suicide and he told me he never wanted to let me down but this was sumthin he needed to do and he said he loved me and it broke his heart that he had to do it i cried for hours and hours and he called me and i eventually talked him out of it i love him so much for not doin that..and this song just fit it |
