Actually this whole song is a metaphor for suicide in fact the title stands for "Care Love and Understanding for Misguided Suicidal Youth" it pleads for the suicidal who are not getting support for their friends or family to go out and seek help Raine has gone on record as being a very spiritual person who tries to help people through OLP's Music "maybe you should sleep" means to take your life "or maybe you just need a friend" is find help with people who have been where you've been to realize that those are not healthy and you need help if you arent getting it. Now this is personally just my open since it helped me get through a horrible deppression after my Best friend got killed by a drunk driver, and my fiance died of cancer all in the same month. |
