this song is so awesome, and its nice how it sounds more raw than the others. Anyways, im guesing this ong is about him leaving behind a girl, probably because he messed up, and got her pregnant - "my kidll never know me" - but wasnt father material. he might mean sorting out his life, staying sober? clean? something like that by the phrase "so ill drive a straight line"
He also implies that he wont ever forget about her, or his relationship. |

i agree, this song rocks the house. i remember i fell in love with it the first time i heard it, in concert. I think he put ALOT of effort and heart into this song, and it shows. i heart Butch. |

Agh! you need to get your facts straight!! Robert Carmine wrote this from an experience he had. He did cuff a girl to his bathtub! I really doubt he raped her because come ON! Robert is so NOT in the position to be raping people. HE was probably just going out with a younger girl, and the girl acted in a way to provoke him to write a song about her. and you all call yourselves rooney fans!!!! :P |

I think this song is about going out with some girl he didnt actually like, and then dumping her, and feeling fine. HE says hes a terrible person, but he doesnt feel badly, and isnt worried, except of her seeking revenge, although she has nothing on him.

There is NO WAY this song is about drugs! Someone has got to stick up for Robert Carmine (the songwriter and lead singer of Rooney) who is so not into that. he was quoted as saying his pet peeves were: "People who do drugs and people who conform." He is also against smoking. Can i ask why he would be writing about being on crystal meth??
I think this song is about either being in love, or else about being stressed. Just in a fog. i know how it feels, when youre so numb, and tired. The song totally fits, although it could be alot of things. |
