This songs about being stuck, "fairytale so tragic " and being unable to escape, "no prince to break the spell". The chance has "Forever come and gone", and now he's "countin' on a miracle". We don't know what in particular he is talking about, the songs significance relies on the idividual to interpret its deeper meaning and relevence. For me, i haven't pinpointed its relevence to me, but lines such as "There ain't no storybook story" and "There's no never-ending song" remind me of how things may not be the way i want them to be, but wht i have cannot go on forever.
