if the article in the german mag is true then thats what its obviously about. i had a few ideas on what its about. 1 that wasnt mentioned was crowd behaviour. its quite well known ATDI walked off stage at a Sydney show because the crowd was "slam dancing". and they have also expressed their dislike for crowd surfing. (yes, i know its not about the Sydney show, i am just going to use it as an example) and just before they played this song cedric said "take care of yourselves. and lets dance. dont beat the shit out of eachother". might not be related at all but it just sent me on a train of thought. -"so who's in charge here barking out loud so clear because i'd really like to meet him" cedric explained about the sydney show that he was upsert the crowd had to imitate the band. he may be saying that he sometimes doesnt realise he has control of the crowds behaviour just through his actions, presence and lyrics. some of the other lyrics "must have read a thousand faces, and all these voices won't give up" and "glues it together, a catatonic leisure, at 1000 miles per hour" could be related to a crowd and their behaviour |

since no one has put a meaning on a single swn song. ill take the pleasure of doing the first. i always presumed this song was about suicide (some obvious references in the song title). at a show. jake introduced the song as "this is about coincidences. if you ever have a coincidence - act on it or you will regret it" |
