| Fall Out Boy – Of All the Gin Joints in All the World Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I love this song. It's so damn catchy. Anyway, to what I think it's all saying... "You only hold me up like this Cause you don't know who I really am Sometimes I just want to know what it's like to be you" This girl is only putting up with him because she doesn't really think that she knows exactly what he's like and she's trying to figure it out. He wonders what it's like to be her going through this. "We're making out inside crashed cars We're sleeping through all our memories I used to waste my time dreaming of being alive (now I only waste my time dreaming of you)" Perhaps the whole crashed cars thing is that they constantly get into arguements or fights but end up making up by "making out." They're not raelly enjoying their time together, and forgetting all the good things. He finally realizes this and has came to only thinking about her instead of worrying about getting through other things first. "Turn off the lights and turn off the shyness All of our moves make up for the silence" I think this is pretty self-explanatory. They're making up by getting into bed. "And oh, the way your makeup stains my pillowcase Like I'll never be the same" Same thing as above basically. "I've got headaches and bad luck but they couldn't touch you I'm not trying" He's getting so frustrated with himself for what he's doing and he doesn't want that to get to her and end up hurting her or something. He knows theres something wrong but maybe because he doesn't know what to do, he's not trying to change even though he'd like to. |

| Fall Out Boy – I Slept with Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |

This song is definetly one of my favorites off the new album. It's an awesome song about, at least I think, a girl screwing with a guy and not being able to shut your mouth, "Just so you know, you'll never know And some secrets weren't meant to be told." Something happened between the two that should'nt have been shared with others and now he's pissed. He's mad that she's screwing around like this, but he's thinking only through himself, taking it out on her, "And I am sorry my conscience called in sick again And I've got arrogance down to a science." The chorus to me is him saying that he's done so much that she should, "Douse yourself in cheap perfume." This is beacuse she's obviously cheap, some whorish kind of girl I guess and it's, "So fitting of the way you are." The last part is him just saying that no matter what she does, her image won't change, "You can't cover it up." "Find a safe place, brace yourself, bite your lip I'm sending your fingernails and empty bottles you've sipped Back to your family cause I know you will be missed" This verse seems like he's so pissed at her that he's going to ruin her life, hence the whole, "Find a safe place, brace yourself, bite your lip." This next part is compeltely my own interrpretation but the whole nails part is that she's so scared she can only bite her nails and turns to drinking to try and help her fear. He's ruining her life more by showing this to her family. "They call kids like us vicious and carved out of stone But for what we've become, we just feel more alone Always weigh what I've lost against what I left Progress report: I am missing you to death." He's saying that people think that he's taking things too far and is not going to do anything about since no one can get through to him. Since he's like this, there's no one there for him and he realizes that, "Always weigh what I've lost against what I left." Possibly he realizes what he's doing enough that he misses her just a little. "Someone old No one new Feeling borrowed always blue Someone old No one new Always borrowed Always you" This is talking about how people have came and gone and it's making him feel like crap, "Always blue." He feels borrowed because people just leave him as easily as they go to him, and it's constantly reminding him of this girl. So yeah, that's what I think. |

No, these are the lyrics. Great song by the way, one of my favorites on the album. To me it's about a girl who can't be with a guy because she's worried what other people think. The guy is trying to tell her that nothing like that matters, which would be the whole "'its not who you are It's not who you know" part. The guy realizes that she's not worth it after she leaves him because she was worried about her image; "You fell for less. Just like i fell for you." |

| Self Against City – Take It How You Want It Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The lyrics are wrong where it says "It gets worser everyday." It's definetly "It gets worse here everyday." | |
