| if its making fun of those band then its really subtle as theres not really any hint of sarcasm, also why would they make fun of musicians that they are known to enjoy such as nirvana, funkadelic and jimi hendrix? jus wondering | |

i think i can see where devinity7 is coming from but considering that when this song was being written the video didnt exist (i assume) i dont think this song has any hint of sarcasm at all in its optimism. theres a fine line between making a satirical song smart or really dumb |

not sure if its just me but theres loads of stuff that sounds like theyre talking about eastern philosophys in this song, buhdism in particulairly. "life is but a dream..." buhdism teaches that life is a dream from which we awake from when we become "enlightened" the ego brain bit could be about how western minds have totally relate self to mind, this create a materialistic sense of the world which in turn cause us to "pretend that none of see the fall" which i assumed was death the chrous sounds like someone who might have had quite a narrow view of life which obviously wasnt working, then was helped by someone else to see that "love prevails over all" just my take |

| to me this song is pointing out that empirical knowledge isnt everything, some things you cant prove in a materialistic way hold most significance to our lives. spiritualism to me doesnt mean im sure im going to heaven or hell or anywhere when i die to me it just means finding myself and my point and purpose, all lifes ansers are on the inside not the outside | |
