| ok..this song is about ocd. i personally have OCD and this is exactly what its like. and its probably not about ADD b/c he doesnt mention anything about ADD except "im sick of these pills that make me sit still" part but if ur on medication for OCD or GAD then the pills make u sit still and not do the things u did before. omg and i really dont think this song has ANYTHING to do w/ acid. if it is about that he obviously didnt want anyone to know that its about that b/c it mentions NOTHING even hinting at acid. idk where u ppl come up w/ ur random interpretations. its pretty obvious also because justin mentions something about depression, ocd, or anxiety in most of his songs. it seems like he has all 3 which make sense b/c a lot of times ppl w/ one have all 3. i have all three and he describes so perfectly what all of these things are like i dont see how he wouldnt have these thigns. | |

| i really dont think its about a relationship at all. and i do think he mentions cutting but thats not really what the songs about. i was suprised no one said this cuz its pretty obvious its just about depression. im pretty sure hes just talking about how when you're depressed everything is just repetitive like just going through the motions of the day and not really feeling anything. and when he talks about the "game" i think hes just referring to life in general like getting out there and trying to be happy and help yourself. quite a few of theyre songs are about depression, ocd, and anxiety. i love mcs cuz hardly any bands are so honest and talk abt stuff like that | |

| i think this songs about a couple who was really in love and for whatever reasons or "circumstances" broke up. but it seems like they're still in love but past wanting a relationship w/ eachother and maybe both wish they could talk and be friends but they know if they talked again they would just end up making out and stuff. and ya these lyrics are really wrong. | |

this songs really just about our generation and how we keep diagnosing ADD when the person really may not have it. and hes saying how u just need to take responsibility for what we do. i personally think the reason we diagnose ADD so much in boys is because theyre wired different then girls and "intelligence" measured so much currently by things that favor girls. also boys prob cant sit still cuz theyre deprived of recess/pe and cant get energy out. no one likes to sit in a classroom for 8 hrs but when ur a boy its so much harder. just thought id give my opinion haha andddd im soo excited cuz im going to see them tonight! |

ok this is suuuch a good song its so true. this is what i think its abt: so obviously its abt "growing up and giving in" the growing up parts obvious but i think its the giving in part thats a little confusing. to me i think hes just talking abt society and how u give in and become s/t u never dreamed abt being when u were a little kid. but more specifically to me its abt giving in to peer pressure and things like that. i think hes trying to say the more u give in and let ur actions be controlled by others, the more you loose urself (his ears, eyes, lungs, and legs) i think take it as first he started listening to all his freinds and then he adapted to theyre interests like clothes, girls, etc. and then his lungs maybe like he starts talking like them and saying things they would say (or maybe he starts doing drugs and stuff b/c of them) and then the legs finally which pretty much control ur whole body. also i think its abt loosing innocence and stuff. like did u ever had a freind that was so good didnt drink smoke have sex etc.. and even tho u did all these things yourself u really liked that they didnt? like they were sorta ur "rock" in a way? idk maybe thats just me but i think hes talking abt a girl that used to be so innocent and then she looses starts conforming to everyone. and even tho he has already conformed to everyone.. hes like wait ur so much better than all this why are u doing this? idk maybe im stretching it a little |

ok so iv always really loved this song but until recently it never really related to me. idk if this is right or not but this is how i interpet the song.. ok so i think its about high school (im guessing he went to high school in texas but i have no idea) and hes sorta looking back and remembering people. so he starts off by descirbing people that he knew in high school. and then he says they were all in love with dying. i think maybe some of his friends died in high school or his freind were just careless and have close encounters with death. idk about the avalanch part maybe hes just trying to convey the intensity of eveyone and theyre wrecklessness or how they all seemed the same to him. like they were all drinking from the same mountain that made them crazy. but then he talks about the sun right after that and hes saying how even tho all his friends were wreckless and maybe some even died he still sees the bright side of things. or maybe hes sorta talking about his pleasures in life like beautiful girls cuz he says the images it shows. or maybe his freinds are all negative or really rebellious but he sorta doesnt mind being happy and just enjoying life once in a while. and the next line hes eihter talking abt a girl or most likely hes just saying how he can still remeber so many details about all these people from high school. and then i think hes sorta talking about high school in general with the next lines about how eveyone puts on a false front and lies. like how eveyones a contradiction. cuz cinnamon and sugar and opposites like nice girls and bitches and softly spoken lies is like how ppl will say really mean things but in teh nicest way possible. and then he just goes on with that idea and says u really dont know what people think of u tho. and thats sorta the question eveyone wants an answer to in high school but can never really get. the next part hes just emphasizing death and sorta liek the different types. the first line is real death and the second i think is more of a figurative death. like hes just saying how when ppl that you're close to die a part of u dies too. and then some will be really happy and love life really intensely. adn then the last verse is just about the different people he knew that died. some in high school and some i think are deaths that hes found out about in the years since high schoool and just thinking back on how everyone was adn hwo they couldve been so much more if they hadnt have been so wreckless. but hes sorta like well maybe its good that some of them died cuz they were really not doing the world any good anyways. thats how i see teh song. its really a great song and i can definately relate to it right now cuz im in highschool and it seems like everyones dying one after another or have brushes with death. seems like eveyone really is in love w/ dying around here..and i live in texas. kinda ironic. |

ok come on guys. stop with all this homosexual stuff. its just not right. seriously. this song is obviously about God and how he is the most important thing in the world and how he has finally decided to become one with him. hes also making fun of people who take God's love for granted. so the first part of the song is him having a conversation w/ God. hes finally decided to seek redemption adn hes really excited. he is obviously making fun of people that think that god is lucky to have them "you're so lucky" he however knows that it is him that is lucky to be one with god. the chorus is the questions he imagines God might ask. he knows he must commit to these because once he is saved there is no going back this part is him trying to get someone to convert Well he's a friend and he's so proud of you (hes saying that God is his friend and hes proud of you) He's a friend and I knew him before you, oh yeah (he knew God before anyone) Well he's a friend and we're so proud of youhe You're famous friend well I blew him before you, oh yeah (hes saying he famous (cuz obviously God is very famous) and hes saying he "blew God off before anyone" and now he realizes that God shouldve been number 1 all along. the next lines are how he thinks God would be proud of his good choices in life. very deep song. |
