What the hell..? One of the Top Three Blue Rodeo songs ever and no ones commented on it yet? Definatly a song written from experiance, and i've had many occasions of this happening; You're very happy that a relationship, and then it suddenly crashes and burns... And you feel as if you should just give up on everything. |

I thought it was just about destruction and violence too, But the line about Conformity and many referances to Honesty threw me off. So fighting for what you believe in is a great way to interpret it. Reminds me of all the Conformist bitches around me. |

Yeah, maybe the Sanitarium makes him insane, insted of vice-versa. But it's probably about an innocent man inside a Sanitarium, and he's free to leave at will; But he wants to prove himself to them before he leaves but he doesn't realize it's making him crazier. |
