musikfreak the piper isnt jesus, thats the devil. the song is about heaven, hell, death, sin, and temptation. Its about how people do things that are considered "bad" and have their choices and paths to go down. "There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, And my spirit is crying for leaving." this is about death because of the west where the sun sets and his spirit is crying to leave because of sin and the "bad" things they do. the mayqueen is the goddess of spring which embodies purity strength and growth. obviously the 2 paths are heaven and hell and its talks about how you can change where you are going. "The piper's calling you to join him,"- is about temptation and sin calling for you. its simple guys, and not every song has to have really deep meanings. If you dont comprehend literature easily, try reading the lyrics backwards word for word and doing some reasearch instead of guessing what the songs about. |
