Anti-Flag – The Press Corpse Lyrics 19 years ago
Right on to Justin! This song is not only great fun, but the lyrics are a biting testament to the failings of the press to rise above crass commercialization and do the job of questioning the government - not to please the rating or one party or political view, but because the press is the last voice of true democracy. I love it alternative rock with a stinging point of view. Maybe the young generation will rise back up and sieze the future.

The Ark – Clamour for Glamour Lyrics 19 years ago
Just a fun diddy with basic ENglish lyrics from a Swedish band - the best thing is every time I hear this I picture Jack Black singing this with his School of Rock kid band - would be perfect for him, and the lyrics would've fit with the theme of the movie. Fun tune.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience – Angel Lyrics 21 years ago
Remember the time and Jimi's drug haze. Typical song of hope I'd bet written on a strong high. Beautiful lyrics. If you love this song, check out a version on the album Blue Haze which is a tribute album of Jimi songs played by blues artists. Erib Bibb does a version of this song in an acoustic piano style and it is awesome

Stevie Ray Vaughan – Life By The Drop Lyrics 21 years ago
This was Stevie's homage so to speak to being able to kick drinking and drugs and finally coming to realize how much there is to live for and how easily addiction can bring you down, or on the other hand how you can take control and live life strong. Great song. Strangely as talented as he was he was nervous about playing acoustic because he never thought he had a great voice for acoustic. As awesome a guitar player as was ever born, Stevie also had to have had one of the best voices ever for blues rock, totally underated as a singer
