i toally 100% agree with 4saken....
A strong love at one point, but time (or whatever) as made him think about moving on. He doesnt' like thinking these thoughts, because the good times were great, and he would like toget back to that...but no matter what..."it hides"..."making life a grind"
"I dreamt of this so long" - refers to when it was strong...it was great..."No I don't hate...." means he doesn't hate her...might in fact still love her, but maybe just loves her but not the relationship (cause it died, faded...or whatever) |

Im thinkin that the taste of ink he is talking about....in the olden days, when they used the feather to write, and would have to lick the tip.....then dab it in ink..over and over...anyway...i could be wrong, but with this interpretation...im thinking that it is definetly about the band, or writing songs! |

I have always wondered bout the line "I shed the tears, then dried these eyes..." I think it would be interesting if the lyric was "I shed the tears THAT dried these eyes."
Like to me..that means you know...you have one big cry, and because of the big cry...you are done crying {dwelling for an extended amount of time!}...i dunno...tell me what you think!!?? |

Personally, I like the the video. Secondly, I agree the folks above that everybody can relate to the songdifferently, but show a little more compassion to god2005. If he/she has gone through what he/she says...then I think the person has a right to feel a little selfish to the song...because I don't know, but it seems to me the songs is about his drug addictions, and him needing to fix himself yadda yadda... That said, God2005 doesnt have a right to own it like he/she says. ONLY SCOTT RUSSO does! You guys tellin God2005 to shut up, makes you just as bad! |
