Hayden says on his live at convocation hall cd: "So this is a song I wrote the music for on a trip I took to Mexico 2 years ago. I thought it was a fun trip until I got home and looked at my roll of pictures that I took while I was there. See, what I did was, I would set my Nikon up on a rock or something and set the timer and then run into the picture and like, smile until the camera went off. So anyway, I have this whole roll of pictures of me by myself with like different things behind me... ruins.. you know... familes eating dinner.. And towards the end of the trip I got desperate and started jumping into other people's pictures...... That parts not true.."
I guess this doesn't really give any clue to the meaning of the song, but I thought it was a good story. |

I'm pretty sure this song is written from the perspective of a woman's vibrator. I tried listening to it a different way but its hard to think of anything else when he says "i will recreate the thrill.. take your body by the hand.. shake your sould awake.."
