| I don't believe this song is about drugs, though drugs played a large influence on the Beatles...I think this song is about not allowing any...bullshit (for lack of a better word) in life to be absorbed in your mind. "I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in" Rain being stuff like media, politics, etc. That's the kind of stuff that stops people from actually sitting back and thinking twice about life instead of being constatnly focused on unimportant things like who won the football game last night, or how the stock market is doing...None of that stuff really matters, it's all just human-created. Kind of a philosophical way of looking at it. | |
