does anyone else get reminded of the sum 41 song in too deep? only in the intro. i like the content of the song but that intro pisses me off. i really like the lines countless odd religions too it does't matter which you choose (oh no) one stubborn way to turn your back (oh) this I've tried and I refuse yea i think they are pretty sweet too |

i agree with both sides of this song being about a girl gone and the guy going into his 'bomb shelter'. and also the theory of nuclear holocaust. i wouldnt put it past the postal service for this song being about nuclear holocaust considering some of the other songs like 'sleeping' and how thats about global warming so im not sure about this one... it could go either way. and yes i do love both versions by my two favorite bands: the shins and the postal service ...spread the word.... |

| The Strokes – 12:51 Lyrics | 21 years ago |

i think the line "talk to me now that im older' and 'kiss me now that im older' has to do with the whole thing of girls wanting the older guy. i exspecially hate it when i see the seniors trying to pick up the freshmen, it pisses me off that they are too fucking retarted to get someone even relevent to their own age. but yea thats what i think it means. |
