OK just thought of something. 'Not knowing you'd change from just one bite...' Has this anything to do with "Vampires will never hurt you'? Maybe he bit her but thought she wouldn't turn into a vampire but then she did so he has to kill her. And before anyone argues, i know MCR aren't vampires and there are loads of different meanings to the song, this just fits in with the story. |

DemolitionLover13, my whole concept of the album is in drowning lessons. But about this song.
It's about being in hospital (possibly escaping from hospital) I have never seen MCR live so i'm just assuming this is right.
P.S. what is this whole drug taking thing in the past?!? recentlt read an interview with MCR where they said they don't do drugs and have no vices. Except for Starbucks. |

I don't think this song is a sellout AT ALL! And although i know most covers suck in comparison to the original, i kinda like this version more. I don't know if that's cos i heard nirvana's version first or cos i'm a devout fan, but i think the original sounds sorta robotronic. |

I love this song and think mcr are the greatest band to ever grace the world with music. (That may sound kind of stalkery but whatever...) I think you can't analyse the song on its own, you have to talk about the whole album, so... I think the Bullets album is about a guy who breaks up with his girlfriend, then realises what a huge mistake he made and tries to get her back, but she doesn't want him anymore. So he shoots her. And then realises that he just killed the love of his life. Then there are songs that don't fit into this overview like Vampires will never hurt you but the rest of the songs do. My over analysed view of an awesome album. Take it or leave it.

This song is both lyrically and musically perfect. I love the piano innit so much!!! I think the first verse is about figuring out who you are (and I know this makes no sense but....) I think the second verse is like "lie to me convince me that i've been sick forever" is like someone saying to her that she was always depressed and it wasn't the new relationship (or whatever) that makes her unhappy and makes her doubt herself.
Whoah that sounded so much better in my mind and I'm rambling again. Oh yeah and "all of this will make some sense when i get better" is hoping that yeah i will be happy again |

I hate this song with a passion and it terrifies me to the depths of my soul that this (I will not call them a band to be a band you need actual talent) actually got a record deal.
