It's about God. He wants to be with God. The "where are you going" is a cry to nonbelievers as to where exactly they are going in life and in the afterlife.

Nick basically asserts his views that the crime should fit the punishment, and that doing drugs (in this case weed) is a victimless crime. However, I'm not so sure you can really have an opinion on the "victimless" stance until you've seen a loved one getting his/her stomach pumped from an overdose. So in that case, the victim is not only the user but also those who love the user.

I see it as a look at all these Hollywood types who mix together various religions to formulate what they believe. It also may be his disgust with organized religion; I don't really know his religious beliefs.

Well, it's pretty obvious this is an anti-Bush song. The music isn't really all that great despite what you think of the lyrics, the flow is kind of weird. I like Glassjaw more.
