The breakdown at the end of this song is pretty sweet (Lust sick!....) that part just brings goosebumps everytime I hear it. Besides that, it sounds like he's pretty wasted and he's got nowhere to go so he's going to write about a fucked up significant other. |

Here we go again with the christian bullshit...this is like the 5th time I've come across the same damn subject that relates to Thrice and their beliefs. You know, you people really are missing the point to why they wrote music in the first place. Let's keep the religion and the music apart for once, for we all know that, and it's a proven fact that even though Dustin and the guys are christians, they didn't have the intention of creating their music to impose their beliefs in any way on their listeners. I absolutely love Maynard's brilliant writing, this is such an amazing song. The best closer I've come across. You don't need any kind of drug to experience the full effects of this song either which is another plus. It's just an experience all by itself. |
