Embrace (UK) – Gravity Lyrics 21 years ago
Claire333, I see how it could be taken in a religious context, but to me, the fact that they use the word honey and baby suggest that it is definitely directed to a lover rather than god or jesus.

Frankee – F.U.R.B Lyrics 21 years ago
This is the shittest song ever written. Frankee and Eamon never even went out. It was a complete marketing stunt and it's dissapointing that so many stupid people fell for it. Well done to the marketers though. Good job.

The Zutons – Remember Me Lyrics 21 years ago
Great song. I think everyone has either done this to their mates or had one of their mates do it. In some extremes you end up losing your friends completely, but is most instances your friends always come back to get their 'hearts nursed' by their pals. It's what being a real frined is all about. Even though you may have felt neglected you'll be there when they need you.

Nelly Furtado – I'm Like A Bird Lyrics 21 years ago
To me it's about pushing people away for fear of a future failing in the relationship. I do it all the time and it pisses me off.

Natasha Bedingfield – These Words Lyrics 21 years ago
Catchy song, but does it remind anyone else of Nelly Furtardo's 'I'm like a bird'?

Regurgitator – I Like Your Old Stuff Better Than Your New Stuff Lyrics 21 years ago
This was a big f*~& you to all Regurgitators old fans who didn't like their new musical direction. They went very mainstream with the Unit album, and I think lost a lot of hardcore fans who supported them when they were just a garage band in West Brisbane.

Ben Harper – Waiting On An Angel Lyrics 21 years ago
This song was played at a frined's funeral whose life was cut tragically short. If there is such a thing as a perfect Funeral song then this is it.

Ben Harper – Walk Away Lyrics 21 years ago
Walking away sucks, but sometimes it has to be done. Ben's the man.

U2 – Sweetest Thing Lyrics 21 years ago
I heard this song was written by Bono after he once cheated on his wife whilst on tour. I think the line 'You can sew it up but you still see the tear' shows that he's sorry for what he did and no matter what he does to make up for it there is still some 'scars' in their relationship. Don't know if it's true, but he clearly is trying eveything to say he's sorry. Comedy appearance by Westlife. Class.
