Shakedown Street was the nickname the band and crew gave to their studio. They called it shakedown street because the studio was located in a kind of seedy neighborhood. The studio was directly across from run down motel. I like this song because its a mellow song. Unlike most of the music played today this song doesn't need someone screaming in your ear. It's a great song. |

hey guys im like still in middle school and im mad becuase this girl really disrespects me and i wear tie dye and listen to grateful dead ive been listening to them my whole life becuase of my mom. So this girl called me a dirty hipppie and i was like dont go disrespecting hipppies. Shes erally rich and preppy and makes fun of me for being like that im also a vegatarine too and she makes fun of that also. Idk what to do because this girls on my case. also, this girls a real poser she says she likes phish becuase she thinks its cool but i realy love grateful dead and phish. I need some advice from real people not fake people that live in my town. Only a few of my friends get me it really sucks. by the way i dont think anyone should sya that about jerrry he was a ledgened and his music is amazing i love it. This girl is really getting on my nerves, but i wanna do this peacefully. Got any advice ? thanks if you do

I remember my mom used to play this song in the car, or aroudn the house. It reminds me alot of my childhood, i think its talking about how you need to help one another when one in need, and others would do the same for you if you needed the help. Im not exactly what it means but this is how i interpereted it. Anyone have any other theroys? |
