This song is perfect! It is nice to know that this song can articulate exactly the way that I feel about a girl. It is totally boss! I love this because it is catchy simple and meaningful all at the same time. First time I heard this song I just kept listening to it. Although I like "deep" songs, it is nice to have one that cuts to the chase and places the listener in a situation that almost every person has or wants to experience. Peace Out. One Word: A-MAZ-ING! First of all, DITTO to everything that has been said. This song totally rocks. Yes, I am a guy with emotions and yes, I am intimidated by no girl except ....this one..... Everytime I hear this song it kills me. PS INDY313 I hear you! I am this close to go buying the sheet music! Also, the girl, I am so close to "getting to know her alot better." So CLOSE! Everytime I am around her I go into some buzz mode where I can't think very well etc. Which is stupid because normally I have no problem being really nice, funny and really charming. Sounds arrogant but it is the truth. |

Out COld was good. The Olsen Twins, however, are awful people. THis song rocks, totally. Upbeat and to the point, once again weezer shows just how good they really are. This, to me, can a be a happy song or a sad song. The phrase they use 'We'll never feel that anymore" can be a happy phrase! Just associate the 'that' with the pains of loneliness or the world or whatever you want to call it. So for me, this song is saying: YAHOO! I NEVER HAVE TO LONELY AGAIN! ETC. YES! SAY YES TO WEEZER! YES! |

Hey! Just thought I would Share what I thought this song means instead of expressing my love for Rivers, with or without his beard. I think this is not a sad song, but just an emotional song that has a tiny bit of desperation. He obviously loves her but probably the relationship needs a little change. Who ever it is Rivers is talking about, he can't live without her. I am not quite sure what the shelf means, probably like what others have said. He hates to see her in an insecure state. Peace Out.
