Well, Verity, the film was taken straight from the play, and these things dont really translate well. The time sequence was a little confusing. i think the whole movie was about how trust is shit, and people will hurt you, whether they mean to or not, and lies and deceit are unavoidable, but love is so powerful that its all worth it, and you'll go to hell and back for love.
oh, this song, so so so amazing. BEAUTY. his voice, the lyrics, from the first four words, you just melt into it. its just so lovely. |

I dont think this is a love song at all. It might be about sex without feeling if anything. but it seems like its about being alone, and being hollow and detached. and you cant change it or do anything to stop it, so you live with it, in it, and you are fine. you are simply the biology textbook explanation of human, without soul or emotion. its about being drained. I think its the most beautiful peice of music out there. |
