i don't think they sound like TheJT. this song makes me so sad. i can't even begin to relate to this situation. but it makes me want to cry everytime. it's just one of those songs. they sound so sad, it makes me sad. being a donnie darko fan myself i thought i'd express my utter annoyance at everyones insistance on plugging the movie everytime they have a chance to speak. the world does not revolve about this movie. GlassShard obviously you missed the whole meaning, good job. anyhow the song. it reminds me of every day when you run through your motions and everything is the same and everything is disastisfying and dissapointing. i'd have to say that the TTF version is much better than Gary Jules' version, because they're the one who came up with it. i fee like no one can portray a song the way it's supposed to be, except for the people who KNOW the song. |

| it's actually "christian based" but that doesn't matter. the point is that their lyrics are more positive than others and God centered even if they don't sing specifically about God. and they refrain from singing about drugs, drinking, sex, etc. like secular bands do. | |

this song is amazing. obviously about having a loving relationship someone that is special to him, seeing as how he refers to friends leaving and they still have each other. and no matter what when they have each other they have everything. and that makes me wanna cry, the sentiment is beautiful. i drive everyone crazy because it's always stuck in my head so i'm always singing it, so ungodly catchy. it's my favorite for the time being. |

this song is marvelous. but i'm not exactly in love with the way it was posted :( i like it when the chorus repeats. i too am rather confused by the "Dear Stephen Patrick" seeing as how it's in the liner but not in the song... so beautiful. |
