I like this song. Although not very Floydian at all... cool riff though at the end which is also in Hey You, Another brick in the wall parts 1,2,and 3, and waiting for the worms. Sounds really Heavy at the when judge arse finnally sentences him to have him exposed to the world. cool song. |

This song to me, seems like the machine is not really a machine. But a record company or music business of some sort. I think this because of the graphic on the album cover of two men shaking hands and one is on fire. Meaning they tell that your great but what they are really doing is burning you. this can also apply to have a cigar. But what also intrest me is maybe this could have something to do with roger saying. "the worms eating in your brain."
or "If i go insane please dont put your wires in my brain. Just makes me wonder.
Please reply. |

This song is about a popular british singer during the war. kinda sad but love his line "Vera!, Vera!, What has become of you?" love that. Intresting that he would be saying that about Vera Lynn. |

This song means to me that rick is explaining about a woman he finds that becomes attached to him and he is rock star so he does not have time and that tommarow will just bring another stupid bitch like you! |
