I just heard the Black Keys for the first time this weekend and..wow. They're absolutely incredible. The guitar in their songs reminds me of legends like Pink Floyd, Carlos Santana and Jimmy Hendrix. Anyway, this song is consistent with the attitude of true blues. The skies turn grey and everyone is against him. |

TonyBar..nice interpretation. I agree with you on just about everything. I wouldn't be so fast to say that this is just about drinking though...it can be any drug addiction. Although a bathroom does kind of imply that the friend is vomiting, which would be linked with drinking. |
