To me, it means many things. I dont think a definitive meaning should be assigned, either. To me it speaks of the 1) Girl lost. (Significant other if you will) 2) Writing about his parents. 3) Society, and or anyone else you'd like to apply this to. I feel there is a nice disconnect here. |

Granted it may be about a stalker or the cat, but I think it also carries a deeper meaning. But perhaps I am again thinking too much into things. Two people who want to be together, one being capable of giving themselves (the ‘stalker’) and the one who cannot give herself because socially it would be unacceptable. “love is in my heart and in your eyes” Perhaps I am just delusional, but maybe? |

Walking alone to bars, clubs and parties. Friday nights. People who otherwise would be shy and seeking solitude either feel comfortable to be themselves, and others pretend to be people who they are not. I think he speaks about the hypocrisy of it all. Not just these people, but life. |
