Joining in the favorite moments discussion. 2:30 is where it starts to get awesome. Awesomeness tapers off until about 4:50, as previously mentioned, then awesomeness builds in a crescendo and sustains until the very last note. This is not only my favorite track in Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place, it pretty much ranks #1 of all Explosions in the Sky songs I've heard. |

i liked this song at first, but then i read an interview that said feist and the boys of KOC had written this song in less than five minutes. the song has since lost a lot of meaning for me. also, if it weren't for feist's vocals, this would be a terribly boring song. |
