I agree with echakan...This song describes one of my relationships with an ex boyfriend. "I know i can't come near you Every time i do I get shaken inside and the sun in my eyes I'll stay away" I'm fine with life until I see him, then I get all of these feeling back and I can't help but start liking him again. "So here's to the passing of all that could be between you and me" It's one of those doomed relationships though, so I know it would never work out and have to forget about him all over again. |

| I love this song. I really relate to it a lot, for one because almost girl can, but also cause I'm bulimic and lately everyones been asking me about it. Most people have some sort of problem deep down, no matter how small or big it is. Chris is one of the deepest writers out there, and I love all of his writings because usually you can relate to it in one way or another. | |

I love this song. I relate to it a little differently. I was in love with this guy who was still in love with another girl. 'but i believe in you so much, that i could die for the words that you say'-He told me he loved me, and even though I knew he didn't, I kept holding on to the fact that he was dating me. He eventually left me for her, and various times tried to come back, but I wouldn't let him. That's what I love about Dashboard songs, they can relate to about anyone. |

| Its weird when you find a song that relates perfectly to a situation you've been in. "The words are hushed let's not get busted Just lay entwined here, undiscovered" ...Sigh. This guy I was seeing snuck in my house one night and every time I hear this song I think about him. Everything goes along, even the part "And the time on the clock when we realized it's so late"--We laid on my bed and kept staring at the clock, dreading when he had to leave. I don't see him anymore, but I love looking back. | |
