Switchfoot – The Beautiful Letdown Lyrics 20 years ago
Anyone else feel like "I don't belong here"? I felt that about about a few hundred times in my life. I can totally relate.

Mae – The Everglow Lyrics 20 years ago
Mae calls "the everglow" .... "our name for that passion inside of a person to break out of any situation that is any less than what he would want that equals the determination and dedication and heart to see it to it’s end. It’s a place of fulfillment and peace of mind. The Everglow is also the moment of self actualization." The everglow is most likely something that Mae has personally experienced, like most of the songs on the album. The song is all about that breaking out, wonderful feeling of self confidence and pride in oneself that one experiences when they DECIDE something, like a major change or say, diving in head first into a solid commitment. To say it's just about a guy and a
girl or about a guy and The Lord is possible, but it doesn't encompass what the song, or the album, is saying to all of us. Mae is much deeper than my first impressions had told me, and I give them all the credit in the world. The album, however celebrated among all Mae fans(like me), is still underrated.

Further Seems Forever – Make It a Part Lyrics 21 years ago
Hey, I get to make the first post! Suprised no one else did, it's an awesome song. I think it just goes to show that there's a whole lot left in life, no matter how bad things are. FSF is saying simply that God has given all of us more to look forward to. "It", I believe, is the love of Christ, and making it a part of everything we are completes us. "Love won't let you die alone" is powerful, in spite of its self-explanation. Then again, maybe the real beauty of this is that the song(like many others written by FSF) can be interpreted in any number of ways. I love these guys!!
