Linkin Park – In The End Lyrics 19 years ago
Has anybody ever felt like LP just throws words in there because they rhyme? Honestly, lots of their music just rhymes for the sake of rhyme and I wouldn't be suprized if the members of LP are laughing at everybody for analyzing their song too much.

"I had to fall to lose it all" What the heck does that mean and how does it fit in with the rest of the dang song?

mewithoutYou – Four Word Letter (Pt. Two) Lyrics 20 years ago
P.S. does anybody ever get tired of looking through posts to hear other peoples interpretations, but all you see is personal comments about their favorite band or a certain line they liked or how good the band is live. Thats all well and good, but its not the reason for this site.

mewithoutYou – Four Word Letter (Pt. Two) Lyrics 20 years ago
This song seems to me like a depiction of different people and their excuses/problems with God. The first verse mentions "...as the handle bars crash to the ground. The back wheel detached from the frame, it kept rollin' yeah, but aimlessly drifting around" This would be the people who believe God set the world in motion and then sits back and watches, much like winding a clock. Thus the "Oh, Doubters..."

The second verse is a bit harder for me to understand, but it seems like the people who use Christianity as a mask "...Somehow we'll show you the pictures and fix you some tea" and its getting harder and harder to keep the show going. Thus the "Oh, Pretenders..."

The last part just seems like a call for people to let go and just trust in God without holding back, doubting or pretending.

Five Iron Frenzy – Far-sighted Lyrics 21 years ago
I love this song, I cant believe that nobody has comented on this yet. I havent thought a whole lot about the meaning, but I think the general idea is obvious. "The Farsighted See Better Things" refers to looking ahead in life and not being draged down by what is going on today. "Promissing things unseen" may refer to heaven, and how those who believe in it may have been called daydreamers by non-believers.

As for the rest, I would love to hear what others have to say. So, lets hear it...

Embodyment – Greedy Hands Lyrics 21 years ago
What I thought at first was that the writter struggled with a sexual addiction that he had trouble controling. Hence the "Greedy Hands" and "Just sit back and be an American". When he sings "Its gone, my inocence" he could be refering to his sexual inocence, whether it be his virginity or just his thoughts and mind. "Thief in the night, do you even remember my name" struck me as being how sex can be very impersonal if taken outside of mariage.

Ive never quite understood what the "Young Judas" could mean. It may have a completely different meaning than what I got out of it, but we all have different views.
