| Thrice – Music Box Lyrics | 19 years ago |

lyrics should read: We move for all mankind, a million miles from everything we've ever known And we're on their hearts and minds, a million heads are bowed to bring us safely home Hemmed in by emptiness, a million ways that everything could be undone This hollow in my chest is filled with reasons not to sing but I found one, I know We are not alone, we feel an unseen love We are sons and heirs of grace We are children of a light that never dims a love that never dies, keep your chin up child And wipe the tears from your eyes In sleep we saw ourselves, a million years We had been waiting there it seems while someone weaves a spell, a million stars look on in witness to our dreams We feel an unseen love We are children of light *"BEST THRICE RIFF EVER"* (on new album) Stand ready and tall, reflect the light |

this new alexisonfire song fucking owns! cant wait for a new album as for the meaning? seems to be telling the story of someone whos killed another person and is in a high speed pursuit, but as le roux stated above, it could also be referring to the death of love, as stated on dallas nuckles. as for the name? fuck knows? great song but |

| The Smashing Pumpkins – 1979 Lyrics | 20 years ago |

[shakedown 1979, cool kids never have the time on a live wire right up off the street you and i should meet junebug skipping like a stone with the headlights pointed at the dawn] = living life as a teenager, doing teenage things, seeking out bf/gf, living life careless and free, hanging out with friends etc. [we were sure we'd never see an end to it all and i don't even care to shake these zipper blues and we don't know just where our bones will rest to dust i guess forgotten and absorbed into the earth below] = never considered the fact that one day this will all end, [double cross the vacant and the bored they're not sure just what we have in the store morphine city slippin dues down to see that we don't even care as restless as we are] =living life careless and free(vacent and the bored), teenagers start to experiment(not sure wat we have in store, morphine city..) [we feel the pull in the land of a thousand guilts and poured cement, lamented and assured to the lights and towns below] = as assured experiementation with drugs causes a bad event to happen, guilt follows etc. [faster than the speed of sound faster than we thought we'd go, beneath the sound of hope justine never knew the rules, hung down with the freaks and the ghouls] =faster than they considered a (justine's) life ends to drugs(never knew the rules, hung with freaks and ghouls) [no apologies ever need be made, i know you better than you fake it to see that we don't care to shake these zipper blues and we don't know just where our bones will rest to dust i guess forgotten and absorbed into the earth below] =a life ends (justines) no body learns from this(to see that we dont to shake zipper blues) [the street heats the urgency of sound as you can see there's no one around] = teenage life (the streets) needs guidence and help etc. doesnt happen ( you can see no one around) |

| From Autumn to Ashes – Where Do You Draw The Line? Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
this is the only song on the new album that has both ben perri and fran mark covering vocals in it. ..not to sure if i like new style of just one vocalist, although its still a fucking awsome album |

i would have to agree 100% with beniffaf on that comment. this song is absolutely beautiful, its pretty mellow, one of FATA's softer songs, but its fucking awsome, i love it. I reckon its about meeting someone new, falling in love with them, the last line im not to sure what thats trying to mean though; "ive been drawing robots with the pen you sent me" ..? regardless, this is a fucking awsome song, and FATA are incredible |

OK, ive decided to try figure it out for myself, I found an editing program and stripped the interlude down to what seems like just looped screaming and laughs, there a few other words that are spoken but i cant really make them out.. sounds like "living in you own world" im not to sure, then its sounds like a "its still shiiii". i wouldnt have a clue anyway, ill try strip it down some more tomorow. i uploaded it to tripod, so u can download it from; http://wog.it.up.tripod.com/message1.wav anyway ill post wat i find agen tomorow |
