You got the lyrics wrong, it's And you cry 'cos I'm so calm inside You scream, you sob, "I'll run, I'll hide" And still we have no answer to The question: What do we do? I take this song to be about the unenviable point in a relationship, either a strong friendship or, more likely, "dating" where you know that it must end for the greater good but you don't want to end it, as you are still having fun. But it has to be done. Strikes a cord in me, certainly. |
