i agree with the people who think that some people on the board are reading too much into the meaning of the song as my personal opinion is that the song obviously meant something to jack johnson when he wrote it, but it can be interpreted completely differently by someone else, and that's great, and that's what music's for. I also agree with the people who think that the song is best with the last three stanzas in it, especially because my favourite line in the song is the bit that goes 'the harder that you try, baby, the further you'll fall'. |
