Bruce Springsteen – Blinded By The Light Lyrics

The song is about working as a musician down the shore. It's about being down the shore as a young man waorking on the boardwalk and playing in a band, and it talks about a lot of stuff thats happening around. Manfred Mann has no idea what the sonf is about and they dont do the verses in the right order. |

The Rolling Stones – Get Off Of My Cloud Lyrics

I agree it's a very good song, and i agree with most of ure interpretations. Keith Richards didnt like this song because he thought it was a little too rushed out to follow up Satisfaction. |

The Rolling Stones – Jumpin Jack Flash Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
right, it was about the gardener, they were in their house which was actually an old castle or something and they stayed up late trying to write a song and the gardener walked by the widow at like 5 30 in the morning and they created the character and made up a story for him. They almost give him impish qualties. |

Very good song, so obviously a part of their jumpin jack flash era with just one guitar carrying the song, mostly because brian jones was to srewed up to play the guitar at the time |

The Kinks – Lola Lyrics

uuhhh, technically speaking he never really says he finds out that lolas a man. In the song it says: Well I'm not the world's most masculine man,
but I know what I am and that I'm a man,
so is Lola.
but strictly speaking, grammatically all that means is that lola is also glad that hes a man. So i dunno, maybe the song is about a guy and a transvestite but i myself just like to think of lola as a none-to-pretty masculine-looking female. |

David Bowie – All the Young Dudes Lyrics
|
Mott the Hoople did this song first. Mott had little record success, and Bowie was a huge fan, so he offered to give them a song. The band was originally offered Suffragette City but they didn't like it, so they took All the Young Dudes. Ian Hunter is a great singer, and Mick RAlphs is a great guitarist, who later formed Bad Company. Mott the Hoople was a great band and still has a big following. This song was the most popular Mott song but there are plenty of others, such as "All the way from Memphis" "The Ballad of Mott" "the Golden Age of Rock n Roll" and a great cover of Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane." |
