pretty much in a nut shell this brings about the question "if there is a god, why is the world so fucked up why would god let so much bad shit happen" and I think that's the subject at hand, but that's just my opinion. I remember I heard this song many years ago in middle school and I thot it was a pretty messed up song eventho I lack faith myself but as I got older I actually payed attention to the lyrical content, and I don't think araya/king is bashing on god necessarily, but it is an interesting ideal expressed in this song, not necessarily that god hates us all but that since so much wrong goes bad in this shitty world/societys and god just kicks back and watches the world slowly deteriorate that it almost seems as tho he "hates us all" and well come to think of it, we're are so fucked up, the world fucking sucks, so ask urselves, why wouldn't he hate us? right? |
