'where were you while we were getting high' not having to do so much with drugs, but more so with the meaning behind it: where were you while we were having the best time of our lives? when all the memories happend? we missed you. and then about the champagne supernova in the sky, i think it means that they will always have a heaven. and that because that person left them, they will only look back and regret not being in that heaven with them. ' a dreamer dreams she never dies' all having to do with childhood. always dreaming. and never looking to what will come. only what is going on right now. i feel it's about teenage years and childhood. missing out on things because you wanted to be cool. that's just me. | |

i love POD. all their songs kick ass. youth of a nation is an amazing song. kind of portrays what the kids in our society are like now-a-days. this song is exactly what i feel about abortion. no child should be killed without a chance to survive. thats what adoption is for. ide rather live being an orphan for the rest of my life knowing that my mother loved me so much to actually keep me alive instead of the ones who are so heartless and cold that they would kill something that didnt even have the chance to breathe. think about their own life. the woman had the chance to concieve, that child in her womb didnt have the chance to hurt, cry, feel, love, anything. and she killed it before giving it a chance to look at what they were in for 9 months. i think that any woman considering abortion should be killed and have the baby taken out of them and have the baby live. ide rather die during child birth for my baby then anything else. ive had the chance to do everything, and i want my child to have that chance too. sorry. im very keen on the subject of anti-abortion. no child should be killed without a chance. that should be considered man slaughter. youre still killing the innocent without any reguard to what they would need or feel. |

this song is great. i think its more about kids beating someone down till they realize they cant take what they want him to be. that he tried so hard, but nothing would ever work, and its never easy to fit in. and that they didnt even believe him when he said things that were true. although it does sound very much like its about a girlfriend though too. this part>>, This place is so empty. My thoughts are so tempting. I don't know how it got so bad. Sometimes it's so crazy but nothing can save me but it's the only thing that I have. >>....reminds me of suicide. oh shut the fuck up all of you. if you like the music, it doesnt matter what genre theyre from. if you fucks really didnt care what people thought, you would openly listen to brittany spears. and, i know all of you had to like some song of that sort. just because a song is from a certain group, doesnt mean that you have to hate it. just like the song because you like it. its a good song in my opinion. its about someone whos so far gone that they even think about it all the time. they were always the person to have the most fun, but then everything plummeted down until they felt this way. just wanting to be alone, suicide. anything to feel better. its just about youth really. well, thats my opinion on the song meaning, if im wrong, go fuck your dad.
