a testament to how raw Nirvana were at the time: on the first day of the Bleach sessions Cobain and Novoselic turned their guitars down two notes, forgetting they had already turned downn from a standard setting. Blew, a meditation on entrapment and control ("if you wouldn't mind, i would like to breathe"), was consequently even sludgier than they intended. |
