I love this song so much. It reminds me of my best friend, we dated for awhile but we had very different dreams. Though we both loved each other we decided to go our seperate ways, and if its meant to be fate will bring us back together. ((And not to jinx anything, I just got transfered to a place not 20 minutes from where I hear he's living now)) |

| Jimmy Wayne – I Love You This Much Lyrics

This song means so much to me. Though my relationship with my dad wasn't this bad, it was very rough and I often wondered if he really loved me at all. At 17 my mom died suddenly and I had to start living with my dad, things were really bad and he began drinking more then ever. I felt so alone, like nobody was with me or loved me. Driving home one day about a year or so later I heard this song on the radio. It had me crying through the first part, and when it hit that last verse I was bawling. This song saved me, I went straight home and prayed to God to please help me through everything, finding him as a last chance. Everytime I hear this song now it reminds me that I'm no longer alone. |

This song is so awesomely written. I love the part: "In brokenness comes beauty
Divine fragility
Reminding me of nail scarred hands
Reaching out for me"
Just beautiful and so touching. |

I love this song, to me it makes me think of how the so called "norm" of society wants you to be a cookie cutter person, and how you sometimes have to learn to be that way. |

This song it seems like everyone else reminds me of a special someone. I was in a relationship with this guy that I really loved, but our families had alot of problems and dating was just to difficult. Finally I moved about 1000 miles away and decided I just had to move on from him and cut all ties with him. After about 5 months I decided to move back home only to discover he had quit his job and everything to move to where I was. So the night I came back home I had dinner with him to say goodbye to him as he moved himself. We stayed in touch for awhile, but finally parted simply leaving it that we would always love each other, and maybe at a different time in our lives... |

This song makes me bawl everytime i hear it, i had never heard it until about a week after my mom died and it just broke my hear completley. It made me think of everything I would miss out on with my mom, like having her at my graduation, wedding, and so much more. I hope people who hear this realize how meaningful a realtionship with a mother is, and to never take it for granted because she can be gone in the blink of an eye. |

though a wee bit cheesy I really like this song. Drugs are a huge problem here in my town, i'm the only one of my friends from high school who isn't a non functioning stoner, and probably one of the only kids who has never even done drugs. I love the lines "Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by "
It's so true around here, no one wants to do anything but go sit in a basement and smoke it or whatever, I mean we've all graduated and everything yet this is still their main perogative (sp). |

This song makes me cry everytime i hear it. It always makes me think of my friend, he died last year and this song just breaks my heart when I hear it because the last verse is almost the exact lines in the poem that was read at his funeral. |

I absoloutley LOVE this song. I know that the meaning behind this song was to describe how lost and confused Avril herself was when she first rose to fame so quickly. I look at this song to have a similar person meaning to me. My life drastically changed about three years ago when suddenly my family was gone along with every sense of security I'd ever known. I didnt know how to handle it and after alot of bad decisions and regrets, I suddenly found myself having to claw my way up from the bottom. This is what this song means to me, about how things can happen so fast that you lose yourself. I espeicially love the lines: "She's fallen from grace. She's all over the place." Just all around awesome. |

| P.O.D. – Abortion Is Murder Lyrics

I have never cared for POD, but this song was great. I am so sick of hearing these girls I go to school with whine "Its my body, and I can have an abortion if I want!" Well it's also your body that can use birth control or just keep your freaking legs shut for 2 seconds, but that wasn't a choice you made. And even if your not a christian, wtf makes you think that something perfectly normal includes a procedure that kills something that is living inside of you and tosses it aside like a piece of garbage? Props to POD. |

Well like everyone who grew up in a "broken" home, this totally hits home. My parents made a decision when I was 3 to infact stay together for the kids. I think they captured the kids view on a situation like this so well. Like the pain of the arguments, and wondering why you sometimes seem like more of the adult then they do. When I first heard this song it really sounded like my family and made me be like "wow". |

I hate people that yell about how a band is posers. Did you yourself make up the category of "punk" and define who is in it, who is not, and that the other 1000000000 people trying to be "punk" are not "punk" enough? Get lives losers. Anyway, i liked this song. I think suicide is an issue that is not discussed enough among youth and should be. I'm in my second year of college and just did this study in my region about youth suicide. Not one school in our region offers suicide prevention in school! Thats really sad, since so far this year we've had 5 kids and 1 teacher in our town kill themselves. Props to Blink 182 for taking on such a difficult subject and doing a decent job of it. |

This song gives me the chills. It came out about a week after my sisters bf died. Blink was their favorite band, and the weirdness of it all was so much of them in the lyrics. He had always helped us decorate for Halloween, it was just this big thing. That year he wouldn't be home until Christmas, and we told him we could decorate for halloween then, but he died on halloween. Plus when they first met, he taught my sister how to catch bugs and eat them (romantic, huh?). It was so creepy to hear this song, because it was like hearing something they would sing. I think its sooo sad and in its own way truly beautiful. |

| Evanescence – My Immortal Lyrics

This song always reminds me of my mom whom died about three years ago. So much of it reflects on how I felt. Especially the lines "when you cried i'd wipe away all of your tears
when you'd scream i'd fight away all of your fears
i held your hand through all of these years
but you still have...all of me " It always makes me think how in the first part of my life that was my moms role towards me, and then how after she got sick I was the one doing those things for her. And the part about how "your presence still lingers here, it won't seem to leave me alone" really gets me. Because no matter what while I'm at my house I see so much of my mom, and part of me wants that to go away because its just to much pain...but at the same time I don't want it to change. The meanings of this song are so abstract, yet so simple. I love it. |
