What is "Certain Worlds in Uncertain Times" about and why is it so damn catchy? It is about a situation reflecting how people who think they are going to heaven and have it made push others out of their little circle of friends and how they are missing the point. The question the chorus asks is "is there anyone who will do ANYTHING about it?". It's funny how it turned out because the lyrics are so serious and the music has that little synth line that's almost making fun of this certain group of people. this "road" signifys life. the past, present and the future, but espcially highlighting the past in this song. "im wishing that you weren't a part of my past" because it was so good and now its gone. its a paradox. and antiesis!!! with "im wishing you weren't a part of my past" and "so please don't be a part of my past" that latter meaning that don't fade away into my past, lets keep intouch. |
