This one is definately about his love for Yelena. Think about it. Czerina means Russian princess, and Yelena is from Ukraine, sister country of Russia. Yeah! Beautiful song. |

I've read all your comments and I found surprising nobody had the same idea of a meaning of the song. I always thought this song was about Billy's mother, Martha, and how, even though he grew up with his dad and Penelope, who became his second mother, he still loved her dearly. But there was something lost. And now that she's dead, he asks for a second chance. Although I can associate this song with personal events in my life, I always heard him speak to his mother. Anyone else sharing the same view? |
