| Carcass – Swarming Vulgar Mass Of Infected Virulency Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Swarming Vulgar Mass Of Infected Virulen. A classic. The song describes various facial sores. Everything is covered from puss filled spots to bloody scabs. The owner of these rather grusome defects is obvioulsy in some pain and instead of seeking medical advice has simply decided that, "with acid I attack, with razors I hack". A course of action I, personally, wouldn't recommend as the outcome is probably going to be a lot worse than the previous condition. .... Good song though. |

| Carcass – Excreted Alive Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| So... Excreted Alive... Well this song, by the infamous Grindcore legends Carcass, follows a familiar path to the other tracks on the "Reek Of Putrefaction" record. That being horrendous acts of violence, torture and gore-soaked surgeries gone wrong. On ‘Excreted Alive’ we are met with the gruesome topic of cannibalism (the act of eating one's own species). It follows no particular characters. Instead we are focussing on the act itself. The song starts by describing the process of eating another human ("munched into pulp"). We then move onto a far more gruesome aspect of the song, as the body being consumed is actually still alive when the act is committed. Further more as the cannibal begins to excrete his meal the faeces are described as "semi-digested squirming pieces". Obviously the cannibal has eaten in haste and I can only imagine the look on his face as he realises to his embarrassment he's not done a very good job of digesting the poor chap. The final lyrics are simply "semi-terminal constipation". It probably serves him right however I should imagine a few digestion tablets might clear him up. | |
| AC/DC – Let's Get It Up Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is about good seaman-ship. You see to be a good sailor you need to hoist the main sail to keep up speed. AC/DC are obviously accomplished sailors. ... oh okay, it's about getting an erection. How F*cking clever! |
| Carcass – Regurgitation Of Giblets Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Okay let me break this one done. Basically we have a person (could be man, could be woman) who has started spewing up their guts while the are burried alive. The vomit of guts is then obvioulsy regurgitated and and that then starts to rot and go ... how shall I say... a bit off. Lovely stuff, just lovely. |
| Carcass – Vomited Anal Tract Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I doubt you'll ever hear this line sung by any other band, "Your tongue gargling on your dislocated anus" class act from Carcass | |
| Carcass – Carbonized Eyesockets Lyrics | 17 years ago |
BEST LINE EVER... "Once flowing blood is now dried, resembling black pudding".... oh well, just as long as it doesn't resemble dried blood.... pheewww. NEXT BEST LINE EVER.... "Your sight irreparable by your optician"... I dunno SpecSavers are pretty good. |

| Nazareth – Razamanaz Lyrics | 18 years ago |
We're gonna Razamanaz you all night!!! The title track from the Razamanaz album is a storming blues rock fest that will have you on your feet!!! BRILLIANT! |
| Nazareth – Holy Roller Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think Holly Roller (which features as a bonus track on the Hair Of The Dog re-release) is about those T.V preachers in America. Or perhaps it's just about fundamentalists but it's basically targeted at those who take Christianity too far and exploit people because of it. | |
| Nazareth – Carry Out Feelings Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so cheasy, but it makes me laugh because of it. The use of "shopping terms" like "Don't give a refund on my emotions and No discounting on my soul" are really lame. Anyway, I think the songs just a bit of a laugh really, I silly attempt at a love song. | |
| Nazareth – Broken Down Angel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Great song from the Razamanaz album. Top 10 hit for Naz I think (might even have got to no. 1). Anyway, the song follows a young lady who may have been a friend of the band but after she was dumped by her boyfriend she fell into depression. |
| Nazareth – Bad Bad Boy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
First Nazareth album I bought was Razamanaz (this song being on it). Bad Bad Boy is just so catchy and the lyrics are really funny (in a sort of cheaky chappy way). The title basically explains it all, it's about a man who uses women, steals their money then 'he's long gone'. Kick ass song! |
| AC/DC – Givin the Dog a Bone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Brian Johnson says this song is actually about his dog Snuggles and how he used to feed him a bone everyday. I'm getting sucked off right now by the way, isn't that cool!!!!! My girlfriend is so good to me |
| AC/DC – Hard As A Rock Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song is about when a man gets an erect penis due to stimulus caused by a very attractive woman. Or put in plain English it's a song about pitching a tent. Only AC/DC folks! Only AC/DC |
| Black Sabbath – Air Dance Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Like the character Miss Havisham from Dicken's Great Expectations, a old lady living in the past, remember the old days. I think Sabbath could have made it more sinister if the lady in the story went ape shit and started killing everyone. Then she turned out to be the devil and started rockin' out with Black Saddath at the local disco! Fupp yeah!!! |
| Black Sabbath – N.I.B. Lyrics | 18 years ago |
On three everybody ... 1... 2... OH YEAH!!!!! |
| Rainbow – Starstruck Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is the best riffized song in the Rainbow catalogue I LOVE IT! It's so self explanatory in the lyrics you'd have to be brain dead not to understand its about a groupie who takes her affection for the band/band member way too far. Anyway the lyrics are so-so but it's the amazingly catchy chorus and riffing that make this song... RAWK MY BALLS OFF! |
| Rainbow – Since You've Been Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The best part of this song is the solo at the end. Richie Blackmore is a genius guitarist. Shame most people only know Rainbow and Richie for this song. OPEN YOUR EARS PEOPLE AND BUY SOME RAINBOW OR DEEP PURPLE. ONE DAY YOU WILL STOP LISTENING TO YOUR FRIENDS AND START LISTENING TO YOURSELF. |

| Iron Maiden – Quest For Fire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Okay, I love Iron Maiden, they're one of my favourite bands ever, but this song really sucks. Its not the music, its the lyrics. I mean ... "Didn't know the sparks that made the fire Were made by rubbing stick and stone." No song should ever feature these lyrics. Where the poetry, where's the dramatic lines? It's just so immature. Anyway, the rest of Piece Of Mind is kick ass and has to be one of Maiden's Greatest albums. |
| Iron Maiden – Iron Maiden Lyrics | 18 years ago |
scream for me dortmund... SCREAM FOR ME DORTMUND ... THE IRON MAIDEN!!! Okay so this song is about two things, the first is about a twisted person who wants to lure someone into his room where the medieval torture device, The Iron Maiden, awaits. An Iron Maiden is an upright coffin made of Iron (no shit?) and is built with a cast ladies head on the top. The coffin has spikes on the inside so when the victim is put inside and the doors shut it pierces their body and all the blood drains from them. The other side of the song is ofcourse about the band themselves and the fact that THEY ARE COMING TO GET YOU!... n'shit! Anyway its a double meaning song and it's a great live closer for the band. I WANT YOU, AND YOU, AND YOU ... IRON MAIDEN WANTS ALL OF YOU!!!! |
| Iron Maiden – Wrathchild Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I guarantee it won't be about Steve Harris. Iron Maiden didn't have a tendency to write about themselves on the early days. I doubt any of them were "born into a scene of angriness and greed, and dominance and persecution." It will no doubt be from some story or other or perhaps another one of Steve's dreams (the guys must note down everyone of them for potential songs). Anyway, the song is about someone who is born to a prostitute. He grows up seeking revenge on the man who is his biological father hence WRATHCHILD. Its simple, and so are you. |

| Bob Dylan – Country Pie Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I just love what you said: "Bob Dylan basically just likes pie. I think we all do." For some reason it made me laugh very heartily, I don't know if that was your intention. I love this song too its very jolly and just really well played too, love the guitar and piano. |

| Tool – Prison Sex Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I guess you can look through the 'sexual abuse' story being told in the lyrics to any kind of abuse (verbal perhaps). Its really more about trying to find solice or peace of mind from such a traumatic experience (in the songs case from child-hood sexual abuse). However the character in the story resorts to inflicting the same damage on his prison inmates as he suffered and finds peace from the human-to-human contact. We hear stories of this kind all the time, in the news, on films and t.v and even (god forbid) in our own families. However this sort of 'reaction' to abuse is in the extreme and the tone of the character in the lyrics is very pityful. Check out the video for this song if you can (try www.youtube.com) as its very good (done in stop motion). |
| AC/DC – Givin the Dog a Bone Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"Oh, She's blowing me crazy Till my ammunition is dry" WOW, you really don't get subtlety with the DC do ya. Yes its so blatently above giving head anyone who doesn't get it must be brain dead. |
| Mika – Grace Kelly Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The similarities between MIKA and Queen or in particular Freddie Mercury are even hinted to in the lyrics above. In fact Queen even wrote a song called Death On Two Legs about being controlled by record companies. Grace Kelly is about exactly that and the changes singer/songwriters have to go under in order to satisfy record execs. Obviously MIKA has fought hard against this as this quirky little song so evidently proves. | |
| Metallica – Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Another POOR, POOR cover by Metallica. I mean they really went off the boil with Load and Re-Load then they try to sell us cover songs. If you want to hear the original and for the love of god please listen to the original then get Vagabonds Of The Western World by Thin Lizzy or as they say in Potatoe Land "Tin Lizzoy". | |
| Metallica – We're a Happy Family (Ramones cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Why oh why must people cover the Ramones! They're crap! RUBBISH, RUBBISH, RUBBISH! | |
| Metallica – Stone Cold Crazy (Queen cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I'd agree with the dude above, this song has and never will suit Metallica. It's another gay Brian May song about when he dreamt he was Al Capone and the lyrics follow his dream. Oh and by the fucking way on the original Queen song on the 'sheer heart attack' album the line goes: 'Walking on the street, shooting people that I meet, with RUBBER TOMMY WATER gun.' The line change is stupid and if your gonna do a cover song keep it original. |
| Metallica – Helpless (Diamond Head cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| okay so this is like the best FUCKING diamond head song ever and Metallica don't really do it justice. Hetfield is acrap singer! Don't argue he jsut is. | |
| Metallica – Enter Sandman Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Basically Enter Sandman is about this paedophile that comes into a little boys room and inserts his john thomas up the kids, woops! and gives him a good old, humpa dumpa! and this, glugs! all over his face. Metallica are so fucking naughty | |
| Metallica – Better Than You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Wow can we all stop being such American pricks for a second here. As useual you've brought the tone down. The guys obviously lying and can't even play the meat flute so lets leave it. | |
| Metallica – 53rd & 3rd (The Ramones cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| $ $ Punk 1039 you are a complete shit to say that to River Wolf, please do us a favour and kill yourself or I'll do it for you, oh and make sure someone pisses or YOUR grave. dick! | |
| Metallica – Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Fuck all you Metallica bum boys the Diamond Head version was 10 times better. You gays need to get an education in heavy metal. Im so sick of those pricks whose musical knowledge goes back as far as Slipknot or Korn. Thankless little bitches!!!! | |
| Metallica – ...And Justice for All Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Ah, Justice. The fickle beast. It's a basic song about the curruption of money but that's not really the appeal. The best drum beat Lars ever did (i too think he's a prick) and some of the best riffing. In fact the whole album is the dogs bollocks. It truly was the last great album Metallica did until Bob Cock f**ked things up for them. |
| Bob Dylan – Isis Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The song is set in egypt Dylan marries a women called Isis (Egyptian Goddess) she leaves him for an undisclosed reason Dylan then leaves for solitude Dylan meets a man who has a proposition of robbing tombs While they travel to the tomb Dylan can't stop thinking about Isis. He remembers her promise to marry him again Dylan realises the man he's with intends to grave rob bodies not just take gold from the tomb. The man he's with eventually dies as they are digging into the tomb (reason is not disclosed). Dylan goes on digging. Unfortunatley the tomb and casket are empty. Dylan realises what a fool he's been going travelling with this man. He dumps the mans body in the tomb and heads back to Isis. She asks where he's been, he replies "no place special". When she asks if he's staying Dylan says "If you want me to, yes" (he's basically being whipped by his woman) Anyway, It appears that the key to the whole weird story is held in the line "What drives me to you is what drives me insane". Isis drove Dylan so mad that he went grave robbing for no reason other than her influence. The trials of marriage. The lyrics are quite weird but the song is intense. It appears that the key to the whole weird story is held in the line "What drives me to you is what drives me insane". Isis drove Dylan so mad that he went grave robbing for no reason than her influence. The song is quite weird but intense. |

| Queen – Dancer Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Brian May's song about wanting a woman he can't have. She is the Dancer in the story. | |
| Queen – Brighton Rock Lyrics | 20 years ago |
The title Brighton Rock is a play on words. Brighton being a seaside resort and "Rock" or "Rock candy" being a long & cylindrical sweet that usually has the words "Brighton Rock" printed (using food die) throughout the entire piece of candy. But obviously we could also assume Brian meant Brighton Rock as in Rock and Roll. The start of the song could be seen in the perspective of cupid looking down on two lovers and "Weaving his spell". Though essentially it shows how holiday romances very rarely work out. |
| AC/DC – Cover You In Oil Lyrics | 20 years ago |
These are officially the worst lyrics ever written for a song but at the same time the funniest (i believe unintentionally). The lyrics portray a man you has no regard for womens rights and views them simply as sexual objects. With lyrics such as "Pull on the zip, She give good lip service" and "She like it hard, She like it slow" who could possibly argue about the meaning of this song. And obviously "cover you in oil" is Brian Johnson's way of covering up the fact he's talking about his seimen on this woman. Bad song from a bad album. |
| Queen – Action This Day Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Taking action over the problems we face in our lives is what its basically about. Obviously placed behind a kick ass rythm. | |
| Queen – My Fairy King Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| My fairy King was really the starting block to what Freddy wanted to do with Bo Rap. Loaded with harmonies its very beautiful. | |
| Queen – More Of That Jazz Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is perhaps a reply to how Queen thought people would react towards the album. Saying No more of that Jazz (the title of the album). Ofcourse I maybe wrong (and probably am) but what the hay! | |
| Pearl Jam – Man of the Hour Lyrics | 21 years ago |

| AC/DC – Spellbound Lyrics | 21 years ago |

| AC/DC – Ballbreaker Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Its quite obvious at first glance that this song is about some hard shagging, in fact so much so that it breaks balls. But if we look deeper into the song we can see a reflection of today's society and the implications of... Yeah, its about hard fuckin' | |
| Pearl Jam – Helphelp Lyrics | 21 years ago |
As with a lot of the songs on Riot Act helphelp is about the struggle of the american people against their crazy president. "A hundred thieves cast a spell, this is hell" Crap album, bad song Can I get a woop, woop!!!! |
