Simply the best Maiden song ever. It's one im proud to blast in the car with the windows down, bellowing out the chorus. I love the end chorus where Bruce hits the note ever so slightly higher. the meaning is basically easy to understand if you listen to the lyrics. two people fighting against each other. Self explanitory. |

This song is fucking sick. Korn should put out a rap album, because some of thier best songs were All in the Family, Children of the Korn, and this one- and guess what, they are all raps. I really love the song musically, but the lyrics are so fucking overdone and cliched. "I hate you. You love me." "You are a liar and a whore" "And I will never ever be you're lover again As far as I’m concerned, we are not even friends" Overly simplistic and childish if you ask me. Perhaps they will just succumb to sobbing into the mic next time? I guess this is what happens when you listen to Cradle of Filth. I feel Alex could benefit from a degree in English Lit like Dani has. I can write better than this. |

I dont give a shit if this is abotu Jesus, or a lost girlfriend, or a lost friend, or Howard's pet dog...this song downright ROCKS. I bought the cd on a whim by word of mouth. It was probably a month before I actually cared to listen to it. From A Bid Farewell to Hope Is was a complete and utter slap in the face of how awesome this band it. This song has the best meaning ever. You can put it in so many ways. Example, I had a dream where I fell in love with a girl and when I woke up, I felt like I broke up with her and whatnot and I was still in love. The lyrics are excatly how I feel. Ugh, but the video sucked. This song is too meaningful to just be a performance. I could have directed it...it would have been awesome quite honestly. |
