well thats the thing about rap though. you have to filter through so much crap before you find a decent song or artist that isn't speaking about the same old thing since the begining of rap. Nas is one of those rappers that you have to wait a while for to release another great album. I got bored with rap, ive listened to it since the begining. Just realized that most things they speak about don't apply to me or anyone i know in everyday life. you would have to have grown up the way they did. however nas seems to be one of those who realizes his importance and that he could reach people in a positive way. he has definetly been good since his start and continues to get better and better as he moves through life. other rappers out there get succesful and seem to forget where they came from. recycling beats over and over again. i loved wu-tang in the beginning but their newer albums are so different now. I can really only think of a few Nas, the roots, who stay consistent and creative. this is just from my point of view, i love all music genres. but you got to put in over time to get me off...... |

as for religions...respect them...obviously someone loves you very much to share signifigant stories about people who have died for you to live a better life...trying to remind you that there are good people out there such as yourself...therefore, keep moving, dont give in to what will dishonor these great people...all religions are a great foundation giving you an idea or example of how your sins could result in another humans suffering. but don't take life to seriously. Last comment was my idea of this song...just simply from a witness percpective on judith's conclusion...just thinking why do you do it? look at you now...how can you still believe? The way we might look back on it is just the way i mentioned...that this could have easily been avoided if we believed in the same respect for human life. and to me thats our one religion. however, it just doesn't seem like we are on the same page and the suffering continues until we surrender... |
