| corkyaf423, kelstonb, cosmicstellar666, lilandz106 and anyone else who tried to connect 10:24 to the Mayan theories, i'm sorry, but that cannot be correct(no offense). I dont know where you came up with that information in the first place, but if you do have proof, message me or something. The Mayan calendar is gonna end (and some believe the world will end also) on december 21, 2012 at 11AM. Not on 10/24, and not at 10:24. trust me i know what i'm talking about. (if you think i made that up, theres proof plus a buncha links at this site http://www.greatdreams.com/2012.htm ) I also thought that maybe the 10:24 had somethin to do with the whole deal, but once i thought about it, i couldnt connect it in any way. | i havent seen a message about the song in a while so i decided to leave one. WEll lets seee... i like the song alot. I mean I fell in love with nfg a long time ago.. i have all 5 of their cds, and though the new one is kinda poppish or whatever, i still like it alot. I'm normally into punk music and stuff but i've just always loved nfg. Some people hate the fact that their on mtv, but i dont know i think its kinda cool. It gets other people interested in the band, which is cool. and I love the video, it cracks me up. I dont know im not gonna stop liking a band jsut cuz they 'sold out' or whatever. This song is so amazing. I mean, it makes you feel good that some guys really feel this way Safe from the earth and all the stupid questions.. "hey did you get some?" Man, that is so dumb. i absolutely love that part. I mean its hard to find a guy that actually thinks thats way. and when you do, you feel really lucky, or at least i do. This is an amazing song to hear from a guy. It really touched me the first time i heard it. And when he performed it he said "this is a song about the best day of my life" So it really makes you believe that he means everything he says. i dont know, i just really love this song |

| well alot of the lyrics in this confuse me, but as a whole it reminds me of somethin that happend. I had this dream a while back, more than once, about this wonderful perfect guy, and I fell in love with him. I woke up and realized this guy didn't even exist in my life, and his whole existance was totally made up in my mind. He was 'in my bones' in a sense because he couldnt be present in real life. And it was like it's almost a good thing i control this relationship in my dreams, cuz that way i can't mess it up. Sortof like the "Good thing u float so i cant crush your toenails" sorta thing. Like if i had a chance with this person in reality, i would probably screw it up. But i suppose it could relate to something besides a girl too. Something that you dream up in your head to be so perfect, when really it doesnt even exist, or you can just never have it. I don't particularly like this song a ton but it is good. I love the old stuff. But as far as interpretation wise I think 'Milk' really nailed it... "OOO I THINK I FIGURED OUT WHAT ITS ABOUT at least the chorus (i think everything else is just random rambling) but the chorus is an insult to all of us former weezer fans who think they went extreme pop in the last two albums- by saying "for the times that you want to go and bust rhymes real slow" he is talking about the people at his shows who are trying to get him to play slow, emotional pinkerton songs instead of the other crap all he wants to play are his new faster more up-beat songs so when he says "i'll appear, slap you on the face and enjoy the show" he is basically saying shut up i dont want to play that anymore thats what i think, because in a rolling stone article he says that it annoys him at the shows that everyone wants to hear the blue album and pinkerton songs, and he is past that and by saying this dope nose, he means "this dope knows"..what you really want to listen to--which is a quote from the rolling stone article in which he said,"i hate our fans, they dont know what they want, i do, trust me this dope knows what they want" " That makes pure sense to me. |
