This song gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. The verbal imagery is amazing. |

I think he's talking about someone out for a ride on their motorcycle who get killed in an accident, there's probably more to it than that but when looking at the lyrics with that perspective in mind they suddenly started to make a lot more sense |

oh, also, Tom said in an interview somewhere that the lyrics were inspired by those crazy street preachers you see in urban areas |

I love that he says "I don't have to shout him" and then immediately shouts the next line of the song louder than the line i just mentioned |

This is one of those rare times when I actually like a cover better than the original, but having said that, you should really listen to Skip Spence's version as it is quite good as well |

"And they like 'what's up with the name?' I tell'em y'all made Bazooka Tooth I's about to ask the same. But before you curfew the city and shut down every block, I'd like to say I still Aesop the fuck out of the Rock"
Quite possibly the best rap lyric ever |

the book is almost certainly the Koran, as Gabe (the angel Gabriel) was trying to sell it to him and according to Islam Gabriel was the one who spoke the verses of the Koran to Muhammad |

i think its mostly about STDs but it also seems that they're subtly saying the human race is itself a virus |

golgotha is not the place where they tried christ, it's where they crucified him after he was tried and it does not translate into "high ground" or "holy ground" it translates into "the place of the skull" |

| Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood Lyrics

you know every time a song comes up that isn't 100% clear on its meaning a drug theory always pops up, I'm not saying this song isn't about drugs, in fact its very possible because you can't deny the fact that the gorillaz use drugs, however just because an artist uses drugs doesn't mean that they write about them, generally people who do drugs tend to be (or at least think they are) very philosophical and therefore this song can have many different meanings |

| A Perfect Circle – Pet Lyrics

this song wasn't meant to be political, the remix, Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rythm of the War Drum, on the other hand is fully intended to be political, and as a side note, don't try to agrue politics on a forum, too many people will just say "(name of political candidate) is a fag" or something of the like without having any real argument against that person and therefore destroy any logical disscussion one might try and have |

well I tend to take late comedian/phliosopher bill hicks' stand point how politics in america work (forgive me if i don't get the quote quite right) "i think the puppet on the right supports my views, i think the puppet on the left supports my views, wait a minute theres one guy controlling both puppets" |
