For some reason this song strikes me as being about the great depression. The part where he talks about Jack the Ripper being at the head of the Chamber of Commerce seems like there is economic trouble. |

It seems to me that he is given shelter from the storm from nature. The line that says "If I could only turn back the clock to when God and her were born," gave me the idea. While the storm could resemble conformity, greed and various things like that. This might be completely wrong but thats what i draw from this great song. |

The lyric "In this land of Flowing Milk and Honey" portrays the state of California, which que said that there is greed in a land that has so much natural wealth and beauty. He makes a great put that life just needs to be more natural in general. |

I agree with rhcp, these guys are great in concert too, maybe even better and their songs are completely amazing and can lift you up almost like no other. As for the song it seems to be excited for getting home (maybe) but its a good song for driving back to denver from a day of snowboarding |

This song is a great song and it seems very mysterious. I am still not sure on which way to go but some people said that you have your own thoughts on how music relates to you and how you interpret it, so ill just leave it at that. |
