This is a great song! people who dont get it are missing the point. Its tongue in cheek humour. Its fiction, i mean Cannibal Corpse have zombies on front covers,,not real people. That would be absurd other wise. BUT this is creative music that even for this the band have tried to be banned by none other than Tripper Gore. Yeah right...good luck to her. The music is all cartoon gore based on horror movies and the music has a perfict fit to it! And if you cant understand Chris Barnes or Corpsegrinder, then dont listen!!! Its the whole fucking point. Simply tongue in cheek humour, even the band dont take themselves seriously, only the fact that all lyrics are wriiten with correct grammer. But after singing about raping virgins and fucking dead children, the guys are perfectly normal guys!! Thats wrong with fucking society and people like Tripper Gore and the rest of the media, they dont know shit! Whoever is influenced by Cannibal Corpse lyrics are sick in the head, but its not the fault of the band and artists within the same genre. Im sure someone probably has mentioned what ive said, but i havnt read. Thanks for your time. |

Right, ill be the first one to comment on this. As know it was written by Anders and he was into fantasy RPG's. Anyway his viewpoints are from someone called Garou (some RPG) who plays the part of peacekeeper most of the time, only to be laughed at by his peers. Finally, he steps up and shows them that he means business. Hence "Only one of us walks away". |

well besides the mistakes - not his fault - heres what Three Nil is about: Its basically about helplessness and a loss of respect that is happening. "Maybe im looking in the wrong direction", "Every promise i make, Im recinding" and "Cry for help". Shows someone is in pain. Lost and helpless, needing to try something new as everything in the past that Corey has tried has never worked. You can say that near enough to the end of the song, realisation becomes apparent and that its time to get help. No hope - need help from others. Catchy as fuck and awesome! |
