The very first time I heard this song, I thought it had a happy ending (the gun was in the closet for the wife's protection). The second time I heard it a more sinister thought entered my mind (the gun was in the closet for the wife to put to her own head). Still not sure if either interpretation is correct. DBT rocks...nuff said. |

| I think I remember reading that the Whigs wrote this song for 1965 after a turbulent split from Elektra following the release of Black Love (hence the song title spelling). It was reportedly inspired by some female exec who done Greg wrong. | |
